My Story
I have always believed that the simplest drawings can carry the deepest feelings. In June 2018, I shared a small set of bear-and-panda illustrations on Weibo, just for fun, to capture the quiet emotions and everyday moments I saw around me. Those drawings became Bubu and Dudu.
At first, they were just sticker-style images expressing shyness, affection, and the tiny gestures that happen between people who care about each other. I never imagined that this small project would travel far beyond my screen and reach fans all over the world. But people immediately connected with the way Bubu, the little bear, and Dudu, the chubby panda, showed love, comfort, and support in such a simple way.
As more illustrations were shared, Bubu and Dudu slowly grew into a character universe of their own—appearing in sticker packs, social media posts, and fan communities who related to their stories. Their pale colors, round shapes, and soft expressions were never about complex design; they were about making people feel seen, comforted, and a little bit happier.
Over time, this journey also helped me realize what kind of artist I want to be. I am still the person behind Bubu and Dudu, but I am also continuing to explore new characters and new ways to tell gentle, emotional stories through simple drawings. This website is where I bring all of that together: my art, my characters, and the world they live in.

The characters’ popularity has also translated into real-world recognition. Official Bubu Dudu merchandise has delivered over 100,000 orders globally through the GetBubuDudu store, reflecting how strongly people connect with these characters and want them in their everyday lives. With more than 145,500 happy customers and tens of thousands of five-star reviews, Bubu and Dudu continue to be celebrated not just online, but in homes all around the world.
